The holidays are among us and people everywhere are decking the halls getting things all dressed up for Christmas. It’s not just homes that are getting the well lit makeovers for the month. There are even travel destinations that really get into the spirit of things too and they go all out. If you are looking to get away for a few days but don’t want to miss out on Christmas decorations and fun, then maybe some of the below destinations will be the perfect match.
- The Biltmore Estates in Asheville, North Carolina can really put on a show for all occasions, but Christmas there is more than magical. Huge trees are decorated with thousands and thousands of lights and ornaments, while all of the mantles in the largest privately owned home in America are lit with a warm fire and carefully decked for Christmas. The windows of all the department stores are full of displays that amaze all ages. There are city light tours that will show you around town, and get you in the Christmas spirit too. All of the trees are breathtaking and the city takes on a whole new glow.
